Guest Policies
– A 50% deposit + taxes will be collected at time of confirmed booking via credit card.
– No fees charged for bookings canceled within 6 hours of confirming the booking.
– Guests can modify their booking until 7 days before arrival for the same or higher price as their original booking.
– Guests can modify their booking only once within 30 days of arrival.
– Guests can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival.
– Guests will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel within 30 days of arrival.
– No-shows will be charged 100% of the total price of the reservation.
– 100% refunds are issued in the event of natural disasters and legally forced closures.
– Other exceptions to the 30-day cancellation window are made at the full discretion of the property’s management.
– All guests must be 18+ years old.
– Guests under the age of 18 are permitted when the entire property is reserved for one booker.
– Reservations may be cancelled immediately due to unexpected children.
– Non-certified pets are only welcome in the forest suites (Salal and Yew).
– Certification must be provided for service animals at least 30 days prior to arrival.
– Pets are not allowed in the common guest areas.
– Pets must not be left unattended in the rooms.
– Reservations may be immediately cancelled due to unexpected pets.
– The Salal suite is wheelchair accessible.
– The common lobby and dining room are wheelchair accessible.
– Shower chairs are available upon request.
– One handicap parking space is available upon request.
– The beach is only accessible via an 85 foot tall staircase.
– Visitors are limited to a maximum 30-minute tour.
– Visitors are not allowed to use property amenities.
– In alignment with Canadian laws, smoking is restricted to the end of the driveway.
– Illegally smoking on property will result in a minimum $350 smoking fine, plus any required costs to cover property damages.
– Prohibited inside our buildings due to residual scents and the comfort of all guests.
– A $350 fine with be charged to cover additional cleaning and removal of scents.
– We try to accommodate restrictions within our set menus.
– We do not have a kitchen that can guarantee allergen-free service for those with severe reactions.
– Our linens and laundry soap are hypoallergenic.
– Our duvets are feather free.
– Featherless pillows are available upon request.
– Guests are welcome to arrive any time after 3:00pm.
– There is no time limit on late arrivals.
– We try to accommodate early check-in requests.
– Early guests are welcome to enjoy our common spaces while waiting for their room.
– Complimentary luggage storage is available.
– We ask that guests depart by 11:00am.
– We cannot accommodate late check-out requests.

– Owing balances are automatically charged to the credit card on file and invoices are emailed.
– Guests may park in any available parking space.
– Parking is free on property.
